The start of the Europy Cup. This is the most important stakes race in Poland. It is run at 2600 meter (1 5/8 miles a furlong longer than the Belmont Stakes for TB) on turf. The racing in Poland is much longer than in the US, which means there isn't a great correspondence between US and Polish race horses, as they say different horses for different courses.
MARVIN EL SAMAWI (Marwn I X Iosra by Dejelfor) 2003 won the Europy Cup rather easily.
