It's not everyday that a breeder comes across a Stallion who's pedigree contains National winners and producers in each and every generation and boasts one of the most elite pedigree's one would come to expect in such a high calibre breeding stallion. Ambassador Jamaal is becoming one of the most exciting young stallions in Canada and the United States today. He embodies the size and charisma of *Bask, *Sanacht and Bey Shah+, and the intelligence and quality of *Ali Jamaal and TW Forteyna. In today's breeding stallions, It's very rare to run across a horse which exemplifies his pedigree. With one look at Ambassador Jamaal you can identify his ancestry— a true mark of a breeding horse. Ambassador Jamaal carries the 2 leading dams of all time, the great *Sanacht as well as TW Forteyna. We are blessed in that Ambassador Jamaal, despite his pedigree and outstanding physical attributes - an impressive 15.2 hands, he offers a refined head, a long, arched neck set on high, lofty tail carriage, and long, straight legs, among other attributes, is the cornerstone of Willowsprings Arabians breeding programme, He has one of the most inquisitive and wonderful dispositions that one would never (ever) come to expect in a breeding stallion. Some days he is so quiet that we have to look in his stall to make sure he is still there.
Sired by Amurath Baikal, the 1980 United States Reserve National Champion Futurity Stallion, who is the son of the two most successful horses ever in the Arabian breed, *Bask and *Sanacht. *Sanacht, who was a German-bred horse, is the second All Time Leading Dam of Champions (TW Forteyna is now the leading dam of champions) and consistently imparted quality of structure and refinement of bone to her offspring - as well as her beautiful soft eyes and wonderful disposition. Her offspring are still influential in some of the most important breeding programs around the world! Baikal‘s sire, *Bask, will always be unforgettable in his contribution to the Arabian breed - the mind, attitude and physical attributes to be an athlete. *Bask was a National Champion Halter and Park Horse - proving form to function is feasible.
Alia Jamaal, herself, a producer of exceptional offspring, is a daughter of US National & Interational Champion *Ali Jamaal. *Ali Jamaal in turn is sired by US National Champion, Ruminaja Ali, who was sired by US Reserve National Champion Shaikh Al Badi. She is out of a beautiful halter and performance champion Bey Shah+ and TW Forteyna daughter, Shahdorable. Alia Jamaal brings together aspects of the international show ring that are so rarely found in any one individual. From her grandparents, Alia passed on much of the substance, style and grace that has lead this line of National Champions and National Champion Producers into the history books. Add to this the beauty, refinement, and spirit of her internationally acclaimed sire, and the combination is electric. Together, both his sire, Amurath Baikal, and his dam, Alia Jamaal, have provided him with the ability to compete on the National level. We are overwhelmed with the exceptional correctness of his foals to date. He is consistently producing foals with presence, quality, substance, type, beauty, size, straight legs, athletic ability and trainable attributes. An absolute breeder's dream, he has improved on every mare. He stamps his get with large, beautiful eyes, teacup muzzles, short, typey heads that are wide in the branches and have the chiseling you'd expect in living art – he has proven the ability to produce offspring of incredible quality.
Ambassador Jamaal was lightly shown as a youngster and did exceptionally well. For those of you who are not aware, during his 4 year old year in a trailer ride back home to the farm, he was involved in a freak trailer accident and sustained multiple life threatening injuries. With the great veterinary attention Ambassador received, he made a complete recovery and was back breeding this year. While the accident left him with large scars the unfortunate decision was made to end his already successful halter career. The decision was made to start his performance career and we are ecstatic! Although Ambassador Jamal does not have any National Champion, National Reserve Champion or Top 10 Halter credits to his name, breeders all over North America are taking advantage of this exceptional young stallion, Why? because he is so well bred, correct, very athletic and producing foals that speak his pedigree. This stallion is un-like any other stallion in this industry, and as the saying goes - "the proof is in the pudding". As another chapter closes, a new one opens and we seriously urge you to take advantage of adding this magnificent young stallion to your breeding program. Please contact for exciting breeding incentives!
